Corra is a workspace for K-12 teachers, built around the belief that the most valuable thing software can give a teacher is time back — not another dashboard. It is made by a small independent team rather than a district vendor, which shapes almost every decision in the product.
Teachers do not leave the profession because lesson planning is hard. They leave because the work around the teaching — the documentation, the forms, the messages, the compliance paperwork — expands until it eats the evenings. Corra tries to shrink that half of the job, and it measures itself on hours returned rather than features shipped.
Three convictions decide most arguments inside the product.
Corra is built and maintained by an independent developer, Ahsan Mahmood, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any school district, curriculum publisher or AI vendor. Support questions go to aoneahsan@gmail.com and reach a person, not a queue.
A short list, kept deliberately public so it is harder to quietly abandon.
Corra is early. Sign-in, the roster and the standards library work; most modules are still being built. There are no users to boast about and no case studies to cite, so this page does not invent any.
